The PhoenixD Cluster of Excellence is entering its second funding round. The aim is to develop high-precision optical devices quickly and cost-effectively for applications in medical diagnostics, food production, telecommunications, and quantum communication. Scientists from six disciplines – mechanical engineering, physics, electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, and chemistry – work together on manipulating and detecting laser light.
QuantumFrontiers and Hearing4All
QuantumFrontiers is a cluster involving LUH and TU Braunschweig. Hearing4All connects LUH with Hannover Medical School and the University of Oldenburg, expanding its focus on hearing loss research with AI systems and innovative therapies.
