While fields like economics, business, and IT attract huge numbers of applicants, Japan has a range of lesser-known university programs that offer excellent career prospects. These majors are often overlooked because their names sound unfamiliar, traditional, or physically demanding. However, many of them lead to national qualifications, involve high technical barriers, or serve industries with chronic labor shortages.
